For God and Country, we associate ourselves together for the following purposes:
To uphold and defend The Constitution of the United States America;
To maintain law and order;

To preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in the Great Wars;
To inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community, state and nation;
To combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses;

To promote peace and good will an earth;
To safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedom and democracy;
To consecrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.
Post 39 meets on the last Monday of each month at the Sunrise Cafe' located on the corner of 200 E Main St & Dewey in downtown Middleton across from the Fire Department. Everyone is invited to a no-host dinner (order from the menu) at 6 PM with the meeting following at 7 PM. Meetings last approximately 1 hour.
Anyone that has served active duty time in the US Armed Forces during any period of conflict is invited to join along with past or current American Legion members in the Middleton, Idaho area.
