DECEMBER 19, 2011 MINUTES
The meeting was called to order at 1735 HRS by Commander Foote at the Middleton Civic Center. The following members were present:

The Commander advised that last month's meeting minutes are posted at the Post website. A motion was made and seconded to approve those minutes as posted. The majority voted in favor.
The Commander said that the Post needs to start an Auxiliary. We need to get some of the wives together to work on that.
Service Officer Report
There was no Service Officer report.
Chaplain's Report
The Chaplain had nothing to report. The Vice Commander advised that Norm Appell has been ill for the past two months, suffering with knee and breathing problems. The Chaplain will follow up with Norm.
Adjutant's Report
The Adjutant advised that the Post has $1549.98 in the Syringa Bank Account and $70.00 on hand.
The Commander praised everyone for the good turn out for the Middleton Christmas Parade. He also advised that the annual Veteran's Home Christmas Party will be at the Home on Friday December 23, 2011 from 1400 Hrs until 1630 Hrs. They are looking for Veterans to assist with the party.
The Commander advised that the January meeting will be at the usual time and place.
There being no other business, the meeting was adjourned at 1745 Hrs.

Commander's note: Lots of great food was had by all with turkeys supplied by Janis Foote and Susan Barnett.
The next meeting will be on January 30 at the Middleton Sunrise Cafe'.
