PRESIDENT'S NEWSLETTER
Hi, I am Janis Foote, the new President of the Middleton American Legion Auxiliary Unit 39. I am trying to form an Auxiliary Unit for the Middleton American Legion Post 39. Post 39 was formally chartered in July, 2009 and they are desperately requesting an Auxiliary unit.
I am sending out this invitation to any lady in the Middleton, Idaho, area that might be interested in joining the American Legion Auxiliary. Please see "Membership Requirements" for more information on joining. There is also a link on that page and the main page to a downloadable application. Please print out 2 of these applications, keep one for your records, and send the other signed application along with the first year's dues of $30 to our temporary address. Do NOT send the application to the State or National Headquarters. You will receive a membership card by return mail.
See "Click to Contact" below for the mailing address and phone number for me and the Unit. Please send payments and renewals to the PO Box shown and make checks payable to, "The American Legion Unit 39." We will send in your membership to Department. Dues are $30 per year.
We need members and prospective members to attend the meetings along with those interested in holding an office in the new unit. Please come to the meetings and consider arriving at 6 PM for dinner. The Sunrise Cafe' has good food with large servings at reasonable prices. I love to visit with all the prospective members.
