The Panasonic KX-TH111S lets you use a regular incoming phone line and with most any 
enabled cell phone - no external cables or modules required! This unit makes it possible to send and receive cell phones calls using it's dedicated cordless phone or dial pad on the base unit and also use the same handset and key pad to place and receive standard wire-line calls. The regular incoming wire-line is recognized as Line-1 and the connected cell phone as Line-2. The base unit also sends the Caller ID information from your cellular phone and wire-line to all additional handsets both visually and with "talking Caller ID." You can use up to 7 addtional remote cordless handsets, 8 total. (Additional handsets sold separately below.) Two people can make calls at the same time, with one using the wire-line and the other using the Link to Cell™ feature. A third person can check the answering machine, and a fourth person can use the phone's intercom function…all at the same time.
All-Digital Answering System
Answering system has 60 minutes of recording time and the ability to record from your cell phone. Retreive messages from the base or any cordless handset. Messages are stored in flash memory so they're unaffected by power failure or interruption. Features include a 2-Digit LCD Message Counter on Base, Voice Menu, Time/Day Stamp, and Memo recording.
KX-TH112S has all the same functions as the KX-TH111S but, with 2 incoming lines instead of just 1 along with the Link to Cell™ feature thus giving the virtual functionality of a 3-Line cordless phone system. This unit is especially convenient in a SOHO operation when 2 incoming lines need to be answered along with a cell phone through the Link to Cell™. You can also use one of the incoming lines as a connection to a VoIP interface.
Both base units can connect to FIVE different cell phones! Whenever the "Paired" cell phone rings, the selected remote cordless handsets also ring with a programmable distinctive ring. Dial numbers manually or automatically using the cell phone's voice command dialing or speed dialing (cell phone dependent). The cell phone can be placed up to 10 meters from the actual location of the base unit allowing for better cell phone signal reception (ie: upper floor or window) and still allow for easy connection to your incoming wire-lines. (Only 1 cell phone connects to a base unit at a time.)
The KX-TH111S and KX-TH112S are cellular telephone and incoming line interface units ONLY! They do NOT charge the cell phone and are NOT signal boosters because there is no physical connection to the cell phone(s).
Any "Paired" cell phone should be connected to it's own external power supply/charger to keep the cell phone's battery charged as there is always excessive drain on a cell phone's battery when in mode. We also offer repeaters, boosters, and external antennas for locations where a cellular signal is poor.
